Maketu March 24th 1871 Dear Sir I herewith enclose my report of the 16th Instant having withdrawn the portion you consider objectionable, and which I now trust will meet with your approbation. I returned last evening from Rotorua Dist. but am sorry to say did nothing in Magisterial business the Notices on account of the weather only having reached about 12 hours before me. I shall have to go again next month when I trust to get through with a lot of troublesome cases. I shall be going on to Matata on the 26th instant. Yours Faithfully F. E. Hamlin
