Sir, I have the honour to inform you that the fines which have been inflicted and recorded by me from members of the Police Force at this settlement, from the date of enrollment on the eighteenth of June 1846 to the eighteenth of June 1847 amount to thirteen pounds five shillings and sixpence; which sum, I have, in compliance with your letter No. 98 of the thirteenth of October last, placed to a good conduct fund; and shall take an early opportunity of submitting to you for the information of His Excellency, the
