The strikers are confident that they will crush the Shipping Federation. Lord Dunraven has" given notice to move that the colonies should be invited to send delegates to a Conference at London to consider measures affecting trade and defence. The dispute between the United States and Newfoundland over the fisheries has been settled oa a reciprocal basis.
