Gisbokne, March 30. Lovely weather was experienced for the holiday. The principal attraction was the regatta, which was witnessed by a large crowd of people. Weixinoton, March 30. It was fine weather for the holiday, which was generally observed. The principal attraction m the city was the Druids' fete on the Baain Reserve, which was attended by about three thousand people. Numerous railway and harbor excursions took place, and were largely patronised. The Wairarapa Jockey Club held a race meeting at Tuaherinikau, to which a number of local sportsmen journeyed. At Palmerston North, the Volunteers had a sham fight, after which their camp was struck and they left for their homes. The Canterbury cricketers were taken across the harbor m yachts to picnics at Lowry Bay. Dunedin, March 30. Beautiful weather was experienced for the holiday, the day being overcast but warm. The town was deserted,"a number going to Oamaru to see the Volunteer manoeuvres, others going to the Taieri races, while the Druids' Gala, which was the only attraction m town, drew a very large attendance to the gronnds at Sawyers' Bay.
