St. Pktbrsbueo, May 5. Many of the Russian Jews removed from theassignediffsTrTcWare reported to be dying m indoscribobls misery. It is reported that fifty thousand of those expelled have joined the Greek and Lutheran Churches. The synagogues at St Petersburg and Moscow have besn sold. The expulsion and withdrawal of the leading Jewish merchants is seriously interfering with the internal commerce of the country. Tt is believed that the Russian, conversion loans will be withdrawn, owing to Messrs Rothchild's and other leading Jewish bankers refusing io subscribe, m retaliation for the treatment to which . their compatriots are being subjected.
