Her Majesty the Queen has appointed the Duke of Fife, the Marquis of Salisbury, Baron Kerschel, Lord Carrington, Baron Rothschild, Sir Lyon Playfair, Sir Henry James, Lord Roseberry, and Lord Strachey Governors of the Imperial Institute, with H.R.H. the Prince of Wales as President. Earl Kimberley, the Rt. Hon. J. Morley, M.P., Sir Jno. Fowler, engineer for the Forth bridge, and Mr Lidderdnle (Governor of the Bank of England) have been nominated as Governors of the Institute.
