Mr S, H. Gollan, the Napier sportsman, scored another important win on the third day of the Victoria Racing Club's Spring Meeting, winning the O.iks with Tirailleur's half sister, Tiraillerie. Mr W. R. Wilson, who supplied the favorite m this race. She, by NordenfeldtStoppe, had his revenge m the Spring Handicap, which he won with La Tossa, who was ridden by the New Zealand jockey, Cusdin. Mr F. Paneti's Wairiu got into third place m the Hurdles, and J. Monaghau was m a moasuve recompensed for his disappointment, with Paris m llie Melbourne Cup by winning the Veteran Suites with that horse.
