It is reported that the Due d'Orleans is starting on a tour through Asia Minor. FRANCE AND THE VATICAN. Pabj£, January 6. The cordial parleying which is taking place between M. Ribot, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the Vatican is likely to end m a solution of the difficulty which has arisen m France with regard to Ohurch and States. THE PANAMA CANAL. The French Chamber of Dqputics has resolved to punish those responsible for the collapse of the Panama Canal scheme. The Government decline to give a financial gurantee to enable the completion of the work.
