SOUTH CANTERBURY JOCKEY CLUB.
AUTUMN MEETING,
[White Choker.] The Autumn Meeting of the above will cornmence at the Club's course, Washdyke, on Thursday next. The railway conveniences have been carefully studied, and a train conyeying passengers will be due at Ashburton at 10.17 a.m., arriving afc Washdyke at 12 12 p.m, A tr.iin will leave the course to connect with the north express, at 5.5 p.m. The Club have been very fortunate regarding fields, and with fine weather good sport may be anticipated. My selections are— Timab'J Hurdles—Captain Abram, 1; Magpie, 2 ; Little Arthur, 3. District Pr,A'j?fi.-r--The Jewel, 1; GYunfd' Orsay, 2 ; Affection, 3, Autumn Handicap.—Liberator, l;l Bay Kins?, 2 ; Prime Warden, 3. I Selling Race.--Fabler, 1; Glenlora, 2; Enfield, 3, Wasjhdyije Welter. - Young Cheviot, 1 ; Aquarius, 2 ; Affection 3. Flyingi Handicap.—Carronade, 1 ; Roseleaf, 2; Finotta, 3.
