THE RAGING CONFERENCE. (FBB PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Dukedin, Sspteubber 3. The Dunedin Jockey Club have instructed the Hon. G. McLean and Mr Fish, their delegates to the Racing Conference, to move that for clubs outside a radius of fifty miles from the metropolis the present rules remain in forc9 ; inside a radius of fifty miles to support Dr Earle's motion. Dr Earle's motion is—"That no programme of a race meeting at which it is proposed fcb use the totalisator, should contain a race of less value ths»n £25, That any club holding one race meeting in a year should not give less than £160 per diem in stakes, two race meetings an average of £300 per dny, three race'meetings an average of £600 per diem, and more than three meetings an average of £600 per diem." To this the Auckland Racing Club propose the following amendment— "That the totalisator shall not be us«4 on any racecourse within 20 miles of a metropolitanclubwhen the added money to any race is less than 25 sovs, nor shall the added money be less than £150 per diem in stak&s where a club only holds one meeting in the year ; for two meetings in the year, 250 sovs per diem in stakes ; for three meatinga, as arranged, 600 sovs per diem in stakes; for more than three meetings, an average of 600 sovs per diem in stakes."
