WBtu»aTO>', November 28. The Graud Jury threw out the bill against 0. Broadbent, charged with larceny as a bailee. True bills were returned in the case of Finlay and Seele, charged with murder, and William Syms, charged with an attempt to procure abortion. Henry Smith, alias Clark, was sentenced to eighteen months' hard labor for obtaining money under false pretences. Henry C, Gochrane pleaded guilty io a charge of stealing a horse, saddle, and bridle, and was remanded for sentence, Frederick Thompson, alias Tatcon, received two years for forgery ab Palmerston North. sfr Edwards made application for a special jury in Syms' case, and also asked for a postponement owing to the absence of one of the chief medical witnesses. The Chief Justice will give his decision in the morning. .. i Wellington, November 29. In the Supreme Court to-day the Chief Justice granted the application of accused's counsel for a special Jury in the case of SymSf charged wi h malpractice in Woodville, and the trial was fixed for Dgsember 13, to enab'f Dr Dd Lisle to b» present, The murder pase Ja proceeding, the prisoners being tried separately, The case of Henry Finley was taken-first. The evidence so far is the same as in the lower court. -
