Addington Stock Market.
Chmstchubch, April 19. There was a very pood attendance at the market to-day considering the weather, and business was fairly brisk. There were about 6500 sheep entered. Stork Sheep.—The entry in this class was rather smaller than of late, and as the quality was not of the best, business was blow, and a slight decline in prices had to to be submitted to. Pat Sheep—About 3000 fat sheep were yarded, and the sale on the whole was satisfactory. A few lines of prime wethers were on offer and sold well up to late rates. Fat Lambs . —There were not many entered and the quality was rather mixed, but prices were well maintained. Fat Cattle.—There was a very small entry and all good beef was readily disposed of at quite 21s per lOOlbs. Stork Cattle.—A very large entry of store cattle was offered, consisting mostly of young stock. Good forward-conditioned beasts sold at about last week's rates, while a slight advance has to be recorded in the pries of second class and inferior sorts. ! Pigs.—The entry of pigs seems to keep up. S.nall pigs and porkera sold well, I whilst big pigs were rather irregular in price. Bacon pigs sold at about 4|d per lb}
