London, April 19. Lord Churchill, speaking to the Home Rule Bill, said that if Great Britain granted autonomy to Ireland it woald be only temporary, and was sure to be ultimately abolished, leaving the country in a worse state than before. Mr Morky, Chief Secretary for Ireland, said that the Opposition could not argue, but could only prophecy. The policy of coercion had ruined Ireland, and its executive had proved the weakest in the world, though England's ablesc statemen had guided it.
