INQUEST.

An inquest was held this morning at half past ten o'clock before the acting coronerMr A, Harrison—and a jury tf six, from whom Mr W. H. Collins was chosen foreman, touching the death of Anthony Thompson, who met with an accident at ffinw*ld on Saturday afternoon as reported. The evidence went to show that the trap wai turned over and the occupants thrown out. Mr Thompson, who was found under the fence, having apparently (from Dr Tweed's evidence) been thrown with his body on a post, and his face on the wire, causing internal injuries from which he died at ten minutes after twelve this morning (midnight). The jury without retiring returned a verdict that deceased met his death accidental'y, through injuries received by being thrown from a trap.
