AMATEUR ATHLETIC CLUB SPORTS.

NEXT MEETING ON MARCH 15th.

A meetinc of the Committee of the Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club was held in the Imperial Hotel last evening, when it was decided to hold the next sports meeting on March 15bh. The list of events will be found in our advertising columns. There are 16 items altogether, including some novelties, such as a cigar and umbrella race for bicyclists, and a display by Professor Carrollo's pupila. A cup for the "Victor Ludorum" who scores the highest number of points at the meeting will also be presented. Nine new members were elected. Messrs W. Speight and A. H. Cotter were appointed handicappers for the running events, and Mr J. Cooper for the cycling.
