STOLEN TEETH.

FOUND AT WAIHI. _y Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WAIHI, this day. In connection with the arrest of T. Mangan on a charge of false pretences, which was dealt with at the Police Court this morning, it now transpires that Sergeant Sheehan (of Waihi) found in Mangan's luggage what is alleged to be a portion of the contents of the show ease of Mr. H. Moses, dentist, of Auckland. Sergeant Sheehan found no less than sit specimen sets of teeth amongst accused** luggage, and they were valued by * local dentist here to-day. One upper set in platinum was valued at £20. Maagan was brought before Mr. Max M. King, J.P., this afternoon and remanded to Auckland on a charge of being in possession of stolen property. Accused personally denies any robbery, ana states that a certain man residing in Auckland gave him the teeth to replace damage done to accused's own teeth. He denies any implication whatever m Moses' burglary. Nothing had been heard of the stolen teeth till the investigations of Sergeant Sheehan brought them to ligh. [Mangan will be brought to Auckland to-night, and will be charged at th* Polic* Court to-morrow. . -
