AUSTRALIA WINS BY MINE WICKETS. NOBLE AND GREGORY'S FINE DISPLAY. SYDNEY, February 9. The cricket match, Australia v. the Rest of Australia, which was played to aid the selectors in their task of picking a team for England, was concluded todayj Australia winning by nine wickete. The weather was fine and the wicket good. Noble played brilliant, faultless cricket, and Gregory a patient game, giving a. splendid exhibition of behind-the-wicket strokes. He gave one chance just before reaching the century. The fine work in the firld of Parker, the West Australian colt, -was much admired. Scores are aa follows:— AUSTRALIA.
