A FIUME AGREEMENT. LONDON, January 14. j Tiie conference of the Little Entente i (Yugoslavia, Czecho-Slovakia. and Bu- | mania), which is meeting at Belgrade. ! noted with satisfaction the casing of I the situation between Yugoslavia and Italy. in which the settlement of the Fiume question constitutes the first sten. The Yugoslav newspaper '-Yreme'' states that the Fiume question can be regarded as definitely settled. It adds that a political agreement between Italy and Yugoslavia is anticipated. Other messages from Belgrade confirm the report of a settlement of the Fiume question between Italy and Yugoslavia, I whereby Italy annexes Fiume. but Yugoslavia is given the use of the port for ihalf a century. Yugoslavia also obtains the smaller Port Baros, the delta, and Banehino. The agreement will be followed by an Italo-Y T tigoslavia treaty.— | (A. and~N.Z. Cable.)
