A FIERCE ENCOUNTER.
ANARCHISTS AND COMMUNISTS FOUR KILLED, MANY WOUNDED (Received 12.30 p.m.i PARIS, January 14. A conflict between Anarchists and Communists due to a quarrel as to whether Moscow should dictate the Socialist policy in France ie_ulted in four being killed by bullet wounds and twelve wounded'with revolvers. Another 20 were beaten severely with life preservers. A man with a bomb tattooed on his forehead started the fray, shouting, "Down with Communists, and causing another to shout, "Down with the Anarchists." Finally the police had to rush the building] where they found a number of dead and many wounded lying in pools of blood.—(A." and N.Z. Cable.)
