DEATH OF BOXER.
COMPOUND FRACTURE OF ______-. (Received 10.30 a.m.) NEW YORK, January 14. Frankie Jerome, one of the leading bantam-weight boxers in the country, and regarded as a dangeicus contender for the world's title held by Joe Lynch, is dead from a compound -fracture of tlie skull. He believed to have suffered in a hout with Bud Taylor, when Jerome received a terrific beating at Hot Springs, Arkansas.— (A. and N.Z.)
