The splendid production by the Auck- i land Amateur Operatic Society in • September last of Mr. L. P. Leary's ' clever musical comedy "Tutankhamen," ' is well remembered by Auckland theatregoers, and there will doubtless be much : delight expressed at the fact that '•Tutankhamen" is to be staged here again for a short season, beginnin" on January _5. the proceeds to go to the War Memorial Fund. Tlie cnst will be exactly the same as that which made so splendid a success of the September season. The scenery and costuming of Tutankhamen were remarkably fine at the last production, but it is stated that an attempt is going to be made even ' outrival their grandeur during the season to commence on 25th inst. •Just received, another shipment of the j fmous S. and C.
