NAPIER HARBOUR BOARD.
COMMISSION APPOINTED.

WELLINGTON, July 25. The long-standing controversy in connexion with Napier Harbour Board matters is to be settled by a Commission, which was appointed this morning. The commissioners a re: ~ Messrs John Saxon Barton, S.M., Wanganui; Arthur Cecil MaeKenzie, a well-known Melbourne engineer, who Jias made a special study of harbour works; and John Biggar Waters, a, Dunedin merchant, whose services will be valuable in connexion with the business side of the enquiry.
