CURRENT NOTES
West of England Group.— Mr H. W. Beaumont gave an illustrated talk on a recent overseas visit at a meeting of the West of England's Women’s Association. He made particular reference to the Went Country of England. Mrs M. Logan presided and thanked the speaker. Mrs A. Dean was given musical honours for her eighty-third birthday. A competition was won by Mesdames A Davis and A. Sweatmore. Member’s Death.—When the West of England Women’s Association met recently regret was expressed at the death of a foundation member/ Mf*A.-W)dgety. Catholic Women's League. —Detective P Burns gave a talk on juvenile delinquency at a recent meeting of the homemakers’ group of the Catholic Women's League, attended by members and their husbands. Mr Patrick Murdoch, accompanied by Miss Barbara Collins, sang a bracket of songs.
