Evidence was given to the effect that the Seddons induced Eliza Barrow to lodge with them and give them hor property, including .£I6OO and India stock, in consideration of Seddon paying her thr.se pounds a week, A cablegram dated December 5 stated that Frederick Seddon, district superintendent of the London and Manchester Assurance Company, had been arrested i on a charge of,poisoning Eliza Barrow by giving her arsenic. The body of the woman was exhumed. It is alleged that Seddon controlled the woman's properly, and paid her an annuity.
