Although the peak business in rabbitskins is passed for tho season, considerable quantities are still coming in. to the Dunedin market —the headquarters of the industry—to meet the shortage (reports the “Star”). The skins are not so heavy as usual at this time of year, owing to the mildness of the winter; still they are desirable and marketable. Otago is contributing a fair share, but the bulk arc from Canterbury, Marlborough, and the North Island.
