£60,000 SUBSCRIBED With £60,000 paid up out of a nominal capital of £109.000, Union Airways, Ltd., which wa.s granted a license by tlie Transport Co-ordination Board to operate an airline betwee.) Palmerston North and Dunedin, was registered as a company on Wednesday.
Tlie share capital is to comprise 1000 shares of £lOO each, and of this number, GOO have already been subscribed Tlie subscribers and their holdings, as shown in the articles of association, are as follow:—Union Steam Ship Company of New Zealand, Ltd.. 592 shares; -Mr. N. S Falla, managing director of tlie Union Steam Ship Company; Sir James Mills, company director: Mr. C. G. White, barrister at law: Sir Alexander Roberts, merchant; Mr. W. Green, company director; Mr. J W. Matthewson, general manager; Mr. C T. Jarvis, secretary: ami Mr. M. B. Miller, chief assistant to management, one share each.
