THE FRONT.

We have a letter from our own correspondent, dated Pukerimu, 13th April, in which he states that the rebel natives who started the previous day for the pa at Porewa, had not returned. They were expected the day he wrote, and it was anticipated that they would be accompanied by about 200 of their comrades in arms. The Governor and the Defence Minister were expected from Ngaruawahia at head-quarters on the 13th. General Cameron would delay his return to town, while His Excellency remained at the Front. The campaign is over for the sea&on, and the troops go into winter quarters.
