NOTICE. r SLENDERS in duplicate will be received I at the Colonial Store, Auckland, up to 12 o'clock noon on 2Sth February, 1870, for the SUPPLY of the undermentioned RATIONS and FUEL and LIGHT, in bulk, in the Tauranga Militia District, viz., wi hin radius of 20 miles, the Co urt-house at Tau rauga being the central spot, at such places and in such quantities as the officer commanding may direct, from the Ist March 1870, to the 31et December, 1870, The rations to consist of — Bread, l^lb., or Biscuit, lib. Meat, lib. Sugar, 2oz, Tea, Joz. Coffee, Pepper, l-360z. Salt, \oz. The soale of fuel and light to be the same as in force for the Imperial troops That, and the conditions the contractor will have to sign on his tender being accepted, may be seen at the Colonial Office, Auckland. The tender ta state the rate per ration including the scale of fuel and the scale of light. Also, to state the rate per bread, grocei y, and meat ration separately, so that, in the event of the contractor supplying more of one of these particular rations than another during a month, he may be paid for those in addition to the complete ration. These three items added together must not exceed the price of a full ration.
