ARRIVAL OF THE KEERA. The fine cattle-steamer Keera, Captain J. Bain, arrived in the Manukau yesterday from Whanganui, bringing a cargo of sheep, which she landed in first-class condition. Captain Bain infoims us that he left Whanganui on the 3rd instant at 12.45 p.m., wind S.E., fine; made a good run to West Cape, when the wind flew round and blew a perfect hurricane from the north, the sea rising very fast. Captain Bain, for the safety of the stock on board, ran back for shelter round the Cape and anchored at Apanaika, rand remained there until 7 on Sunday 'morning 1 , when the gale moderated and wind in from the N.W.; 9 a.m., passed a iore-and-aft schooner, supposed to be the Fairy, from the Manukau, bound to Lyttelton; and arrived off the Manukau last night {Sunday). We are indebted to Mr. Gillies, purser, for our files.
The Lord Ashley.- -The C.S. Company's B,s. Lord Ashley takes her departure for Southern port* from the Manukau to-day.
