Messrs. C. Arthur and Son report the following prices obtained at their sale of furniture to-day : — Plated tea service, 18s ; sponge baths, 17s ; boilers, 4s 3d to 6s 9d ; sausage machine, 8s 6d ; timepiece, 225 ; lustres, 12s 6dper pair ; iron bedsteads, 18s to 37s ; cane chairs, 5s 6d to 8s ; folding chairs, 15s ; basins, 2s lid to 4s 3d per dozen ; cups and saucers, 3s 8d per dozen ; 1 crate china, 27?. Messrs. S. Cochrane and Son sold at their land mart, Fort-street, to-day t — A fourroomed cottage, erected on allotment 27, section 42, city of Auckland, fronting Cookand Union-streets, for 83/.
