. The marringe was recently solemnised- .--at Taranaki street - Metliodist. Church, Wellington, of Miss Greta Winifred Chishohn, younger daughter of Mr and Mrs Frederick J.t Cliisholm, of Wellington, formerly or Napier, to Mr Norman McLeocl Smith, formerly of Napier, only son of Mr and the lato Mrs Risby Smith, of Christchurch. The church was prettily decorated with blue hydrangeas and creamy gold roses. The Rev. Clarence Eaton was the oificiating minister, and Mr Eric Frogatt presided at the organ. The bride was accompanied by her fatlier, and wore a frock of cloth of silver, and heavy silver lace, with uneven hem-line, trimmed with crystal and rhinestones. Her white and silver veil forrned the train, and was mounted on a coronet of silver tissue and laee embroidered in pearls and rhinestones. Her only ornament was a string of seed pearls, and she carried a bouquet of white roses. The only bvidesmaid, Miss J. Tonks, wore a French georgette frock in apple green eolouring, with Yandyked yolk -ef'-^m'b'OSS®! pa.nne- -velvet m • the -same tnne, a tiglitly-fitting hodiee and full skirt, with tiny frills from waist to hem-line. nnd hand-emhroidered roses in matchinjr shades. Her large felt hat was of the same shade, and trim-
med with silver. The bouquet carried was in sliades toning with her ensemble. * The best man was Mr A. Miller, of Wellington. After the ceremony a reception was held. Mr and Mrs Chisliolm reeeived their guests, the latter wearing a smart gown of amethyst chenille georgette, draped with georgette in tlie same tone, and a small liat to match of slia4ed velvet flovyers ; the bouquet was also in violet and amethyst tonings. The guests included Mr and Mrs F. S. Wynn-Parke (sister of the bride), wearing a cinnamon French pleated georgette frock ; Mr Noel Chisholm, Mr and Mrs K. A. Chisholm, Mr Rishy Smith (Christchurch), Mr and Mrs F. E. Fauvel, Mr and Mrs G. P. Edwards, Mr and Mrs J. W. Carr, Miss Yalerie Carr, Mr and Mrs W. Tonks, Mrs MartinAYilliams, Mrs G. A. Sunderland (Masterton), Miss W. Tonks, Mr and. Mrs and Misses Ferguson, Mr, Mrs and Miss Scrimigour, Mr and Mrs Hugh Blakeley, Mr and Mrs T. Pacey, Mrs G. Luke, Mr and Mrs R. E. Herron, Mr and Mrs K. Balchin (Blenheim), Mr and Mrs M. Luke, Mrs T. Jenkins, Mrs Chapman, Mrs A. F. Tonks, Mr and Mrs A. T. Fauvel, Mr and Mrs N. Tonks, Miss Dorotby Blakeway (Christchurch), Mr and Mrs W. Reid and many other s. Tlie bride' s travelling frock was of apple green charmalaine and fawn georgette, trimmed with diamante, small felt hat to match, with silver motif, and a musquash fur coat. On their return from their wedding trip Mr and Mrs Smith will 'take up their residence in Dunedin. The bride was entertained at several teas priof to her marriage.
