Sir Cliarles Napier was one of the 1 most distinguished generals of his | time, serving with credit in the I Peninsula War and later acting as | comniander-in-ehief in India. He died in 1833. It is understood tliat tlie Thirty Thousand Club will have the pliotographs framed and exhibited in tlie town, where they are sure to create great interest.
