* PASSENGER AND ARMY PLANES. Six People Killed.
NEW YOIUv, Apnl 22. At San Diego (California) six perscns were killed on Sunday whcn Lieutcnant Howard Keef'er, in a singlo seater army pursuit plane, dropped" suddenly near a large passenger airplane, in which there two pilots, a man and two girls. Keefer's plane sliced portion of a wing from the larger plane and both crashed. Lieutenant Keefer attemptcd to jump, but his parachute caugnt m a wing of his plane. Ihe passenger pilot worked his own plano down safely, only to overturn on landing. Wituesses gave varied reports ol: the ea use, but it is believed it is improbable Keefer was stunting. It is tliought botli planes dropped simultaneously, duo to atniosphcric conditions, aiid tliat the anuy machine fell more quiekly, striking the other before the pilots could rcgaxn eontrol in the "blank space" in the air.
