SYDNEY, April 23. Amalgamaied Wirelcss to-nigbt furnished reports from the Soutbern Cross radio man, saying: — "Left at S a.m. for flight south to-day. Lande-d at Nicbolson's station on the Ord river at 1.21 p.m. Investigated several fires. Arrived 3.55 p.m. at tbe Kookaburra, wliicb is on tbc edge of a large tract of burning country. 5Ye saw tbe body under tbe wing and bad a good look round for ihe missing man, but saw no sign. Continued° to Newcastle, Wiiters, wbcre we landed at 5.41 p.m." Amalgarnated Wircless also reported tbat tlie Canberra was on tbe wing to-dav and landed at Ncwcastle YYaters tliis evcninc.
