CHRISTCHURCH, This day. Tlie inqiiest into the deaths of Rohert Wehh Bugg, ngcd 32v single, and Alexander (Mndlish, 4(5, marned, who were killed when a niotor cyele tliev were riding collidcd witli a tram 011 the Opawa, road, 011 the evening of April 10, was conchuled on Wcdne«day. The evidenco was tlxat the motor cyele carried 110 light and that Ihe mcii should have had a clear view of tlie traiu for two or three chains. Tliev had heen stopped hy a constabJe earlier in the evening, for riding withont- a light. The motor cyele was travelling about 36 niiles jier hour. A11 eye-witues.s stated that just before the erash the driver of the cyele appeared to he turning round, spcaking to the pillion rider. The eoroner, IMr F. ('. Levvey, S.AL, found that the deaths were aeeidental, adding that- the mntomian on the tram was in 110 way to blame.
