Service At Clive.

A most inipressive. Anzae Day service was eonducted at the Clive Public Hall yesterday afternoon, Mr A. E. Morgan, chairman of tlie Progressive Society, presiding. supported hy the Revs. F. A. McCuteheon and H. Gould, and Adjutant Hawkes. The Salvation Army band, hesides supplying music for the service. rcndered a most ac-c-eptable sclectiou during the interval, afterwards playing the "Dead Marc-h." Messrs Gould and McCuteheon delivered inspiring addresses and Adjutant Hawkes led in prayer. A number of heautiful wreath s were placed on the Cenotaph. The visitors from Xapier and Hastings were afterwards entertained at afternoon tea hy a number of local ladies. Mr Gould lieartilv thanked the Salvation Army for the valued help in assisting to nuike the eeremonv sucli a success.
