A wedding of mucli interest was solemnised at St. Augustine's Cliurch, Napier, on Wednesday, April 17, wlien Myrtle, second daughter of Mr and Mrs PI. Hayliow, Napier, was joined in holy bonds of matrimony to Harrv, eldcst son of Mr and Mrs W^ G. Hatton, of Napier, late of Gisborne. Tho ceremony was performed bv the Rev. A. Hodge, Mr.E. C. Jamieson presiding at'the organ. The bride, who was given away hy her father, looked charming in her wedding gowli of white georgette and fine silk lace, finished with diamante trimming and orange hlossoms. _ A heautiful tulle veil was arranged with a coronet of orange blossoms. _ silver; sh.oes and stoekings to tone. Slie earried au exquisite bouquet of pasteltiuted fiowers and maidenhair _ fern,which completed a very dainty toilette.i The hride was attended by her sister, Miss Olive Hayliow, and Miss Roma Jennings as hridesmaids. Their frocks were fashioned alike in pale apricot p.nd pale green accordion pleated georgette, hung from fine lace yokes caught at the waistline witli diamante trimming. They wore cream hats with drooping brims and clusters of Autumn-tinted flowers, cream stoekings and black satin shoes. Beautiful liouquets of Autumn flowers completed their toilette. The hridegroom was attended hy Mr J. MacDonald, of Wellington, as hest man. and Mr R. Colwill, of Hastings. fulfilled the duties of groomsman.- . After the ceremony the guests_ ad? journed to the home nf the bride's parents. where a reeeptiori was held.i The tahles were tastefully decorated with yellow and white flowers and palms, and suspended over the hrin© and hridegroom was a yellow wedding bcll , tinted with silver and fastened with yellow streamers. A liandsome two-decker wedding cake took pride of place, prettilv decorated with silver. bclls. leaves and orange hlossoms. During the wedding breakfast the usual lon Ms were honoured. ATrs Hayhow reeeived her guests attired in a hand some navv blue coafi over a frock of navv _ crepe-de-chine.-8Iie wore a. navv hat with shaded gold flowers. and earried a pretty scarlet and white posy. Mrs W. G. Hatton, mother of the hridegroom. wore a pretty nnvy blue crepe-de-chine frock lieavily _ embroidered in grey aud gold; witli a; small hlack hat, relieved with vieux rose. A heautiful marabout capo completed her toilette. She also earried a bouquet of vieux rose flowers. Mrs L. Wills, of Christchurch, sister of the bride, wore a navy hlue georgette jumpcr suit embroidered in scarlet. and a small navv and scarlet liatj Mrs E. J. Young, sister of the hridegroom, wore a French hlue satin frock, with shell-pinlc collar and cuffs, and i large pink felt hat. Mrs A. E. Jull. of Waipawa, aunfc of the bride, wore a frock of red and navy, with small red hat. Mrs A. Rnnkin, Gisborne, wore grey crepe-de-chine relieved with floral cone-de-cliine and a grey hat. Mrs W. Colwill. Hastings, was nttired in a saxe blue frock, black coat, and fawn hat. Manv other guests were present. The hride and hridegroom left later for Auckland, Rotorua n.nd Whangarei 011 tlieir honeyrooon. The hride travelled in a faw'n coloured costume, with l.nt, shoes nnd stoekings to match. and a heautiful fox fur. the giffc of the hridegroom. The bridegroom's giff to fhe hridesmaids were strings of pnnfc pearls and a hound hook of poems. The toung oouple reeeived many useful and handsome presents, including many cheques.
