An outbreak of fire occurred this fefternoon at 2.30 o'clock in the yards of the railway workshops. Napier, when some old timber ancl rubbish near a shed beome ignited and threatened damage. The Napier Fire Brigade turned out, but its services were not reqnired, as the Railway Fire Brigade staff extinguished the outbreak with their appliances.
