TWELVE MONTHS' REPORT. SOARLET FEYER EPIDEMIC. The Hastings health inspector, Mr C. Carrell, reporta that, "During the year ended JMarcli 31 205 cases of infcctious diseases were attended to and disinfections carried out. There has heen a marked increase, last year's total heing 31. This large increase was due to the e.xceptional scarlet fever cpidemic, which was general througliout the Dominion. This epidemic has run its course in this district and this year sliould sliow a lower total."
