The guests were entertained with music, and tables wero set out in the library for bridge enthusiasts. COMING-OF-AGE PARTY. On Saturday evening last, 5Ir and 5Irs J- G. 5Vebster gave a verv jolly party in the Yictoria Hall, in honour of the coming-oi-age of their daughter, Jean. The lights were prettily deeorated with pink streamers. 5Irs J. G. 5Vebster and her daughter received the guests, 5Irs Webster uearing a mnuve figured crepe de chme frock with effective trimining. 5Iiss Webster looked dainty in a sweet frock of pink georgette with sl-rt of handkerchief effect. Songs rendered by 51iss E. Richards during the evening were greatlv appreciated, while 51r A. Robertson delighted all with a recitation. A delicious supper was served in the supper room and the usual toasts were honoured. 5trs Arrol ably presidcd at the piano while Messrs H. Elmes and N. Etheridge played extras.
