BLAZE AT WESTSHORE. NAPIER BRIGADE TURX5 OUT. A11 earlv morning blaze at Westshore this morning totally destroyed a threeroomed cottage, 111 Charles street, owned In- ATr J. Spivey atid occupied hy Alrs Bellamy. Tlie Napier Fire Brigade received a call at 4.30 a.m. and turned out promptly, but were unable to save tlie house, which was gutted when they arrived at the sliore. They pumped from tlie inner harbour, however, and with a good flow of water obviated any danger to adjoining residences. The blaze is helieved to have started in the roof. The insurances on the house amounted to £300, in the Atlas Officfe. The best thanks of the firefigliters are due to Aliss Sims, who provided them with refreshments.
