"A Woman Against the World" a Tiffany-Stahl production, is hooked for tne feature picture attraction coming to the Majestic Theatre to-night. The cast of players inciude such well known screen players at Harrison Ford, Georgia Hale, Gertrude Olm stead, Lee Moran, Harvey Clark, Sally Pand, Walter Hiere, William Tooker, Ida Darling, Rosemary Tlieby, Charles Clary, Jim Farley and Wade fJoteler. The picture was directed by George Archainbaud from an original story by Albert Sbelbv Le Vino. "A Woman Against the World" tells a thrilling and exciting tale of a girl reporter who gets a position on a great Metropolitan ncwspaper and finds that when it comes to getting assignments 011 big stories she is left out in the cold. While covering a fashionable wedding she stumbles upon a clue to a murder mystery and starts out to do some drteclive work by herself. She find« the man who is accnsed and he pro-t.-sts his innocence, while the niale re pcrters 6coff at her. The man is convicted and sentenced to die. She still bclieves in his innocence, although his brirle has lefti him. The day of the e.vecution arrives and she has been unable to find any new evidence to save the life of the man she has fallen in lcve with. When leaving the prison she hears of another murder, similar to Ihe one the cnndemned man was convicted fqr. Frantically she gets in touch with the police, intercepts the man who is accused of the latest crime and by a smart ruse makes the man confess the first murder. Then starts a race to save the life of the innocent man, who is snatched from the electric chair at the very last moment, and the lovers are reunited.
