WANGANUI. This day. George IV. Hastings, aged about 54, an habitual criminal, escaped frora the Wanganui Hospital at 2.30 this morning. He had been sent a week ago to> the hospital for treatment to his hand. He made a simiJar escape from the IVanganui gaol about 18 montlis ago, and was put on bread and water for ten days. He is supposed tc be liiding in the lupins at Castlecliff.
