(Received Tliis Day, 1 p.m.) , LONDON, May 16. Duncan bcat Walter Hagen by one up in the Moor Park 1000 guineas touruey. It was oue of the keenest fights. Duncan made his custoinary bad start and Hageu won the first twe lioles. Tlien there came a typical Duncan patch. which included his holing eight yard aud ten yard putts. Deespite this fact Hagen made not the semblance of a mistake. Duncan first led at the tenth and tliey were all square at tho sixteenth. Duncan lost a chance of winning the sevcnteenlli, missing a three-yard putt. All square at the eighteentli provided a fitting cliniax. Both were on the greon in two. Hagen, from 15 yards, putted first and lipped tho liole, and laid Duncan a dead stymie. Duncan. from 12 yards, had to play over a bank. The ball hit five feet wide of the liole, came round beautifully, and dropped in amid tremendous clieering. In the ladies' golf, fifth round, Miss Joyce Wetliered beat Miss Mollj* Gourlav by 7 up and 5. Dliss Park heat Miss Enid Milson at the nineteenth. Miss Glenna Collett beat Mrs Watson by 3 up aud 2. Mrs Guedalla beat Miss Pymau by 3 up and 2.
