Detective McLeod and Detective Knight havo been particulnrlv identified with a very tlirough proho into both facts and faiicios. The fac.t tliat Detective Knight returned to Auckland on Wednesday to follow a possible source of inforination was a.ssumed in some quarters to be indieative of a clue pointing to murder.
