HASTINGS v. SPIT BRIGADES. BIG CARD TOURNEY. This week marked the completion of the card tournanient between the Hastings and Spit fire brigades' for a handsome gold cup presentcd by . the Spit Brigade. The games were divided into euchre and crib matehes, and at tlie tournament's conclusion Hastings were successful with an aggregate of 132 against the Spit's 120. A medal for the most points collected during the season was wou by Fireinan La Broome, of the Spit Brigade.
