REC1TAL BY MR C. B. SPINNEY. ON WEDNESDAY NEXT. If Mr Cecil B. Spinney, L.R.A.M., organist of St. Matthew's Church, has given auy enjoyment in the past with his organ recitals (and there is 110 doubt that he has), there should be a double aniount of enjoyment l'n the programme he has arranged to present at liis recital 011 Wednesday next, as for this recital, Mr Spinney has included quite a numbejr of special request items which have so thorouglily pleased iu tlie- past.- These include "The Question" and "The Answer" by Wolstenholme, Scott's "Over tlie Prairie" and tlie well-known "Pomp and Circumstance" by Elgar. For his otlier nlnnbers, Mr Spinney has selected "Prelude in C Sharp Minor" (Vodorinski) ; "llomance in D Flat" (Lemare) ; "Festal Toccato" (Baynon) ; hymn, "All people that on earth do clwell" and that fantasia and fugue on B.A.C.H. (Liszt. For this recital, Mr Spinney will be assisted by the well-known and talented violinist Miss Frances Fox. ' L.R.A.M., A.R.C.M., who will play the 1 solo, "Andante from Concerto in E Minor" (Meudelssolin), and an "Air 011 the G. String," (Bach). The recital commences at 8 p-m.
