WOODEN-LEGGED GHOST
llETURN TO OLD HAUNTfe. A ghost equipped with a wooden leg has been liauntiug a liouse in the oucskirts of Strabane, County Tyrone. Many people claim to have heard t*.e crippled spectre, which has resumed its visitations after an absence of scveial years Its wooden limb is stated to cruncb noisily along the gravel patlis arou id the empty liouse wliicli it liaunts, aud doors are tlien seen to open mysteriously. The ghost can tlien be heard making its .way in eerie "dot-and-carry-one" fashion along the passages and upstairs. It is stated that- the house was'once occupied by. a- oneffegged recluse who died suddenly nearlv a century ago.
