CAR THIEF ABROAD
TWO-SEATER TAKEN FROM PARKING AREA. ABANDONED IN NAPIER SOUTH. A two-seater touring car, the property of Mr V. J. McHardy, of Bay v iew, disappeared from the parking area' ohtside the Napier Municipal Theatre last evening. The] owncr left :iit there early in the evening -and. re■turned a little later to find it liad apparently been appropriated in the lhcautime. The police were at once informed and as a result the stolen vehicle was found abandoncd in Napier South this morning, the driver having apparently left it wlien the petrot rau out. So far as is lcnown. the car was undamaged.
