CONCERT DETAILS F1NALISED. LAST NIGHT'S MEETING. A general meeting of the Hawke's Bay Radio Society was held in lTastiugs last night, Mr AY V. Clark presiding over a good attendance, wliicli included several ladies. Further matters in connectiou with the fortliconiing t^roadcast coneert were discussed and. finali-ed, and it was rcported tliat everyihing was progressing satisfactorily. On aecount of the meeting room heing unavailable on Tnosdays, it was decided to hokl fnture meetings on Mon- j day niglits, and it was reported that the next meeting would. be the annual fixture. In connection with the broatleast concert, it was suggested tliat in view of the programme being presented the prices should be increased, but aftcr a fengthv discussion it was decided that they should remain as advertised. In connection with the sale of tickets, one mcmber reported that he liad sold. just on tliree dozen within two days. Appreeiation was expressed of the transmission. efforts of station 2ZH, Napier, and it was decided that a letter of congratnlation and appreeiation be sent to tliat station's autliorities. Following the general business and snpper, Mr D. Kirkwood gave a very interesting talk" on hroaclcastiug in England, dcmonstrating liis lecture with gramophone recOTds. He- was accordcd a heartv vote of thanks.
